In 2017, KDL purchased the former Seagrave Fire Engine Factory, a long-vacant industrial property on Columbus' South Side. Since then, they have been committed to thoughtfully restoring and reactivating this historic landmark while preserving the character and legacy that make it such an important part of the community's history. Today, the property is known as The Fort and serves as a growing home for entrepreneurs, small businesses, artists, and community organizations. Through ongoing investment and adaptive reuse, they have transformed previously vacant spaces into a vibrant business ecosystem while maintaining the building's historic identity.
